FTP Accounts in Cloud Hosting
You can set up as many FTP accounts as you want with any of the Linux cloud hosting packages that we’re offering, since we’ve decided not to limit this feature. In this way, you can run multiple sites at the same time or grant other people access to multiple directories. Once a specific job has been fulfilled and you do not want that person to be able to connect to your website files any longer, you can update the password associated with the FTP account or you can just remove that account with a couple of clicks and stop worrying about anybody using it once again. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which is offered with all shared hosting plans, will allow you to see the complete list of the active FTP accounts shown in alphabetical order. It takes only one single mouse click to manage various options for any of them – to edit the password or the access path, to download an auto-configuration file, etc.
FTP Accounts in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you host your sites in a semi-dedicated server account, you’ll be able to create a separate FTP account for each one of them, since we haven’t put a restriction on this service with any of our semi-dedicated server packages. You can do this via the FTP section of our easy-to-navigate Hepsia Control Panel where you can also see the full list of all the FTP accounts that you’ve created, together with the folder that each one can connect to. If necessary, you will be able to edit the password for a specific account or to edit its access path with several mouse clicks. You can also delete an account with no effort in case you do not require it anymore – for instance, if you’ve hired a developer who is done with the site and you don’t want them to be able to connect to your web files anymore. For the sake of convenience, we’ve made a number of tutorial videos, which will help you administer your FTP accounts with no effort in case you’ve never used a hosting plan before.
